Physical & medical

1.6 km run, push-ups, chin-ups, ditch - then the doctor’s examination.

ISSB (officers)

Four days at Kohat, Gujranwala, Malir or Quetta. Soldiers skip this stage.

Final merit & interview

Merit lists are drawn; interviews confirm the final selection.

Report for training

Regimental centre for soldiers, PMA Kakul for cadets. The journey begins.

Documents you will need everywhere

The checklist

  • CNIC or B-Form (original + copies)
  • Domicile certificate
  • All educational certificates and marks sheets
  • Father’s / guardian’s CNIC copy
  • 6 passport-size photographs (blue background)
  • Fee receipt and roll number slip
  • Special certificates - hafiz-e-Quran, sports, NCC

Registration happens on the official portal: joinpakarmy.gov.pk - or report to your nearest Selection Centre on the advertised date. This site guides you; the Army selects you.

Beware of agents. Nobody can “get you in” for money. Selection is free apart from the advertised test fee - report anyone who promises otherwise.
