An officer’s commission is the Army’s leadership track. Whether you enter after intermediate or after a university degree, every route passes through the same gate: initial test → physical → medical → ISSB → final interview → PMA Kakul.

  3. Register online or at your Selection Centre when the course is advertised.
  4. Prepare the initial test - officer courses weight intelligence questions heavily.
  5. After clearing, keep your ISSB documents ready and read the ISSB guide thoroughly.

What “commission” means

Commissioned officers hold the President’s Commission - starting as Second Lieutenant and rising through Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel and beyond. The journey begins with two years at the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul.
