1.6 km run, push-ups, chin-ups, ditch - then the doctor’s examination.
Details 6ISSB (officers)
Four days at Kohat, Gujranwala, Malir or Quetta. Soldiers skip this stage.
Details 7Final merit & interview
Merit lists are drawn; interviews confirm the final selection.
Details 8Report for training
Regimental centre for soldiers, PMA Kakul for cadets. The journey begins.

The checklist
- CNIC or B-Form (original + copies)
- Domicile certificate
- All educational certificates and marks sheets
- Father’s / guardian’s CNIC copy
- 6 passport-size photographs (blue background)
- Fee receipt and roll number slip
- Special certificates - hafiz-e-Quran, sports, NCC
Registration happens on the official portal: joinpakarmy.gov.pk - or report to your nearest Selection Centre on the advertised date. This site guides you; the Army selects you.
Beware of agents. Nobody can “get you in” for money. Selection is free apart from the advertised test fee - report anyone who promises otherwise.

Two Ways In
Online vs centre registration
Both doors reach the same test ground - pick whichever route your advertisement allows.
Online registration
- Apply on joinpakarmy.gov.pk within the advertised dates
- Enter matric marks, domicile and centre choice exactly as on your certificates
- Print the registration slip - it is your roll number proof on test day
- Best for overseas candidates and districts far from a centre
Centre (reporting) registration
- Walk in to your nearest Selection Centre on the advertised date with originals
- Staff verify documents and register you on the spot
- Forgives internet problems and small data-entry mistakes
- Carry the fee receipt if the advertisement prescribes one
Once registered, the five gates await: initial test · physical test · medical examination · officers continue to ISSB and the final interview. Live intakes are always open on the jobs board.
