About this entry
The 2024 AFNS intake was announced on 17 June 2024, inviting female pre-medical and diploma-holding candidates to apply online before 29 July 2024. Trained nurse, lady cadet and nursing assistant category terms were defined in the official advertisement.
Applicants cleared an initial academic test, medical examination and interview. Successful candidates joined BSc Nursing programmes at Armed Forces nursing colleges with free education and boarding, proceeding to commissioned service in the Armed Forces Nursing Service on completion.

Eligibility requirements
- Female citizen of Pakistan (AJK and GB included).
- FSc Pre-Medical with at least 50% marks; diploma-based posts as defined in the advertisement.
- Age 16.5 to 28 years depending on the entry category.
- Medically fit with height 5 ft 0 in (152 cm) minimum.
- Registration closed on 29 July 2024.

How to apply - step by step
- Register online on the official Pakistan Army recruitment portal (joinpakarmy.gov.pk), or report to the nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Centre as advertised.
- Fill in personal, educational and domicile details carefully and choose your test centre.
- Deposit the prescribed test fee (if applicable) and keep the receipt safe.
- Download or collect your roll number slip with the test date and reporting time.
- On test day, bring original documents and reach the centre before the reporting time.
- Clear the initial test → physical → medical (→ ISSB for officer entries) to reach the final merit list.
Apply only on the official portal: registration happens at joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Never pay agents - Army selection itself is free apart from the advertised test fee.

- Original CNIC / B-Form (and a photocopy)
- Domicile certificate
- All educational certificates & marks sheets (original + copies)
- Father’s / guardian’s CNIC copy
- 6× passport-size photographs (blue background)
- Registration slip / roll number slip and fee receipt
- Experience or special certificates (hafiz-e-Quran, sports, NCC etc.)
