About this entry
The Pakistan Army opened registration for the April 2024 soldier intake on 8 January 2024. Candidates applied online at the official portal or reported to their nearest Selection and Recruitment Centre with original documents before the last date of 19 February 2024.
Registered candidates appeared in the initial written and intelligence test, then the physical efficiency test covering running, push-ups, chin-ups and ditching, followed by a detailed medical examination and final interview at the centre. Trade-specific academic standards applied for Technical, Clerk and Nursing Assistant entries.

Eligibility requirements
- Citizen of Pakistan with domicile of the applicable province or special quota region.
- Matric or Middle pass as required for the chosen trade; higher education accepted for technical and clerk trades.
- Registration closed on 19 February 2024; original documents verified at the centre.
- Medically fit with standards of height, weight and chest as per the official advertisement.
- Clear initial test, physical test, medical examination and final interview to reach the merit list.

How to apply - step by step
- Register online on the official Pakistan Army recruitment portal (joinpakarmy.gov.pk), or report to the nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Centre as advertised.
- Fill in personal, educational and domicile details carefully and choose your test centre.
- Deposit the prescribed test fee (if applicable) and keep the receipt safe.
- Download or collect your roll number slip with the test date and reporting time.
- On test day, bring original documents and reach the centre before the reporting time.
- Clear the initial test → physical → medical (→ ISSB for officer entries) to reach the final merit list.
Apply only on the official portal: registration happens at joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Never pay agents - Army selection itself is free apart from the advertised test fee.
