ICT Police advertised 300 Constable (BPS-07) vacancies for the federal capital in February 2020, the last full recruitment cycle before pandemic disruptions reshaped the testing calendar. The selection chain followed the standard ICT Police sequence: a written screening test covering English, Urdu, Islamiat and general knowledge, followed by physical measurement, a running and push-up assessment, detailed medical examination and a final interview. Eligibility requirements
- Pakistani citizen with valid CNIC (federal quota applied).
- Matriculation with at least 2nd division from a recognized board.
- Age 18 to 25 years as per the advertisement.
- Height: male 5'7", female 5'3"; chest (male) 33" with 1.5" expansion.
- Physical efficiency: running, push-ups and sit-ups per ICT Police standards.

How to apply - step by step
- Register online on the official Pakistan Army recruitment portal (joinpakarmy.gov.pk), or report to the nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Centre as advertised.
- Fill in personal, educational and domicile details carefully and choose your test centre.
- Deposit the prescribed test fee (if applicable) and keep the receipt safe.
- Download or collect your roll number slip with the test date and reporting time.
- On test day, bring original documents and reach the centre before the reporting time.
