About this entry
The October 2021 advertisement was the largest ICT Police constable intake since the pandemic began, adding 450 posts to strengthen street-level policing in the federal capital. Online registration stayed open from 18 October 2021 until 8 November 2021, and the drive explicitly encouraged female candidates, with dedicated women seats applied within the federal quota framework.
Testing was assigned to the national testing service: a written screening paper was followed by physical measurement trials where male candidates were assessed for running, push-ups and ditch crossing, and female candidates for running and general fitness. Medical boards then screened vision, hearing and overall fitness before the final interview and character verification stage.
The 2021 batch fed the expanding Dolphin Force wings and the Operations Division, while a substantial share of the female intake joined duties connected with the Safe City project and women help desks. The cycle is fully closed; the criteria below document the 2021 advertisement for reference.
Quota note: Federal quota distribution (provincial, women, minority and special-person seats) applied as per the official advertisement.
