About this entry
The June 2026 constable advertisement kept ICT Police on its near-annual recruitment rhythm, adding 400 posts split between male and female candidates to cover retirements and the ongoing expansion of the Dolphin Force and Traffic wings. Applications were accepted from 8 June 2026 until 29 June 2026.
The selection pattern remained the established chain: written screening on English, Urdu, Islamiat and general knowledge; physical measurement with running and strength trials; a detailed medical board; and a final interview with merit-based selection. Testing sittings were arranged at centres in Islamabad and Rawalpindi to accommodate the volume of applicants.
Successful candidates were slotted into training batches scheduled across the following quarters, with postings expected in the Operations Division, Dolphin Force, Traffic and police stations of the federal capital. This cycle has now closed; the criteria below document the advertisement for candidates preparing for the next announcement.
Quota note: Federal quota distribution (provincial, women, minority and special-person seats) applied as per the official advertisement.
