What happens at this centre
The Army Selection & Recruitment Centre, Karachi is where your Army journey physically begins. Everything up to ISSB happens within these gates:
- Registration & document check - CNIC/B-Form, domicile and educational certificates are verified against your online registration.
- Initial test - intelligence (verbal & non-verbal) plus academic MCQs. Many centres now use computerised e-testing.
- Physical test - 1.6 km run, push-ups, chin-ups and ditch crossing, conducted the same day or the next morning.
- Medical examination - height, weight, chest, vision, ENT and general fitness screening by military doctors.
