Pucar-15 is the federal capital's three-digit emergency line, dispatching police, rescue and fire responses around the clock from the integrated operations room. In August 2025 ICT Police advertised about 60 operator posts (BPS-07) to expand call-taking and dispatch capacity, accepting applications from 11 August 2025 to 1 September 2025. Female operators were actively encouraged, reflecting the mixed shift pattern of the centre.
Candidates were screened on intermediate education, a 35-words-per-minute typing benchmark and general computer proficiency. The written paper tested English and Urdu comprehension, numerical ability and situational judgment for emergency call handling; shortlisted applicants completed a simulated call-dispatch exercise and a listening-clarity check before the medical and interview stages.
Appointees work in rotating shifts at the integrated operations room, logging calls, dispatching field units and coordinating with Rescue 15 ambulances and fire services. How to apply - step by step
